This course is designed to help the individual agent define their own ethical standards & values as it relates to the real estate industry. The course will review the day-to-day ethical dilemmas real estate often face in their business on a daily basis, plus review specific case studies on common topics regarding the real estate industry. The goal of this course is to create a safe environment to discuss the code of ethics, its preamble, and the pathways to professionalism as per the National Association of Realtors.
This course fulfills state licensing renewal requirements and is approved by the Iowa Real Estate Commission, yet may not fulfill the NAR membership requirements for Ethics. Your local board of REALTORS determines approval, yet free resources are available at NAR.REALTOR.
The Iowa Real Estate Commission REQUIRES full-time attendance and students to be on camera full-time with a working microphone for all Zoom courses.
